Happy House Anniversary

Today is the 3 year anniversary of moving into our new house. The yard is really starting to look nice as the trees and flower beds mature. Amy's new Japanese garden in the front looks great as well. Next order of business will be to start repainting the rooms inside (you know how they paint everything the same color when you get a new house). And, just think- only 20 more years of house payments!

Trey's First Home Run

Friday nite, May 5 against the Mets at Town Hall. Top of the 3rd. Man on first. Pitcher hurls a high fastball out over the plate. CRACK! Trey hits a blistering grounder that scoots through the gap between the 3rd baseman and the shortstop. Trey scampers to first and realizes the outfielder has misplayed the ball. Kicking in the afterburners, Trey rounds second and keeps on trucking. The ball rolls all the way to the fence, and Trey and his teammate score easily. And just like that Trey had hit his first home run.
